Clean-core SAP BTP extensions for SAP Business One · since 2023
penka GmbH Luft- und Klimatechnik is an independent ventilation wholesaler near Stuttgart and in the Rhein-Neckar region. It supports ventilation projects from planning through installation to commissioning — with a broad, highly available range, its own special manufacturing and logistics.
I build several SAP BTP extensions for penka following the clean-core approach: SAP Business One stays standard, and all in-house enhancements live in SAP BTP on SAP HANA Cloud, integrated with the on-premise SAP Business One system.

GAEB (Gemeinsamer Ausschuss Elektronik im Bauwesen) is the data exchange format used in construction across Germany, Austria and Switzerland for tenders, cost estimates, contract awards and billing. It is the common digital standard for bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnis, LV) and replaces bulky paper folders and unstructured Excel files. My current main work is automating the tender process based on GAEB data.
